Our Weddings Magazine was created because media often portrayed relationships in the Black community as estranged, hostile, and filled with complications. As we watched these relationships unfold via reality television it became apparent that the true storyline of successful Black marriages was missing or completely ignored and touted as boring.

Who wants the drama when they can have a respectful marriage? 

So we created Our Weddings Magazine to fully highlight every aspect of Black relationships.

We do not solely focus on the Black wedding experience through the eyes of the Black bride. We focus on the entire relationship experience - from dating to being engaged to getting married to staying married!

It's all relative and it's all OUR experiences. 

Our Weddings Magazine is not exclusive to people loving who they want to love and how they want to love but we are completely inclusive of marriages between the Black man and the Black woman.  Our stories are important and so are OUR marriages.
